Sep. 7th, 2006 06:08 pmIf you haven’t already, please sign the petition against ABC’s egregious 9/11 distortion film, in which GOP partisan producers blame the Clinton Admin. for the tragedy just in time for election season. For instance, scenes ABC has already admitted are complete fiction depict Madeleine Albright tipping off the Pakistanis about our attacks on Bin Ladin, and Sandy Berger refusing to authorize those attacks. In truth, during the months directly leading to 9/11,Bush was sleeping on the job – dreaming of Star Wars technology,stem-cell “sacrilege” and other irrelevancies to the real world.

Sep. 7th, 2006 07:08 pm"It's one of the deep, dark mysteries of world politics, Blair's subjugation to Bush, despite Blair's obviously greater stature".
Response: "The way I heard it, and the only way that I can explain to myself Blair's poodle-like behaviour towards Bush, is that the Bush family are legendary for never forgetting a favour. If you take care of them, they'll take care of you. I heard that John Major, as his reward for supporting Bush The Elder during the first Gulf War, was given a cushy directorship with a healthy stipend, on the board of one of the many Bush companies. Blair is looking to secure his future in the same way. I can't remember where I first heard this, but it was around the time that he got a £3.5m mortgage for a London house. At the time, people were wondering how he intended to pay for it."
My note: John Major Appointed European Chairman of The Carlyle Group - May 2001
Also, United Defense Industries was a United States defense contractor (the fifth largest in the United States) which was sold (through the Carlyle Group) in 2005 to the UK's BAE Systems. It seems to me that the business of US and UK leadership may be entirely different than we, the taxpaying suckers, have been led to believe.
