I sign petitions I believe in. Do they work? I don't think they can do any harm and they help me feel as if I am not just a silent victim.

Like, 'I hope this can do something...'
But it's okay, and I feel the same as you.
I know that often nothing may transpire from such, but at least inside I can be at peace knowing that yes, I tried, yes I did something, it may not be much, just my name, but it is something.
