Now known as the International Church of Cannabis, this former church in Denver has been transformed into a sanctuary for cannabis smokers, offering consumers a place of peace and meditation in order to achieve their spiritual goal in serenity.

Having been there last week, I can tell you it's a remarkable space. Here's hoping they find their footing and become a beloved cultural institution.

:) I pretty much agree with everything you just said. Boulder is just far enough away that I've not managed to get down there so often since moving to the Denver front range in 2006, but just close enough that it seems a little silly to stay in a hotel to take in the scene. Well, I thought that about Denver, but recently realized life's too short and logistics like that are obstacles well worth hopping over. I believe that mankind has an inalienable natural right to spiritual and religious liberty, and a little tolerance of others can go a long way.
